Collection: Steam Saunas
Steam saunas, also known as steam rooms or Turkish baths, create a humid environment by producing steam through a generator or by pouring water over heated rocks or coils. Unlike dry saunas, which have low humidity levels, steam saunas have humidity levels typically ranging from 100% to 120%, creating a moist and humid atmosphere.
The temperature in steam saunas is lower than in dry saunas, usually between 110°F to 120°F (43°C to 49°C), but the high humidity levels make the heat feel more intense. Users sit or recline in the steam room, where the warm, moist air induces sweating and promotes relaxation.
